Warriors All Time Leaders: Points, Threes, Assists and More

Every Warriors record question anybody ever asks me, answered. Spoiler: it's mostly one guy.

Bay Area Sports Blog Staff · Warriors

Everybody in my life keeps asking me Warriors record questions, so I'm answering all of them right here. These are all time franchise numbers, Philadelphia and San Francisco years included, through Thursday's game this season. And yes, I'm going to be insufferable about Steph.

Who's the Warriors all time leading scorer?

26,737Stephen Curry

It's not close. Wilt Chamberlain's second with 17,783, and remember, Wilt averaged about a million a night. Then it's Rick Barry at 16,447, Paul Arizin at 16,266 and Chris Mullin at 16,235. Steph's almost 9,000 points clear of Wilt Chamberlain. Say that out loud to somebody. Klay's sixth at 15,531, by the way.

Who has the most threes in Warriors history?

4,248+Stephen Curry

That was his total going into this season, and he's been adding about four a game since. You can't put him next to anybody on this list, because there's nobody to put him next to. Nobody in the history of this sport has done what this man's done from out there.

Who has the most assists?

6,774Stephen Curry

Him again! The shooter leads the franchise in passing too. Draymond's second with 5,373, then Guy Rodgers with 4,855, Tim Hardaway with 3,926 and Rick Barry with 3,247. I love that Draymond's up there. A guy they took in the second round, running the offense for a dynasty.

Who has the most rebounds?

12,771Nate Thurmond

Finally, somebody else! Nate the Great's on top, Wilt's next at 10,768, and then you drop all the way to Draymond at 6,497, Larry Smith at 6,440 and Clyde Lee at 6,416. Thurmond's 42 hangs up there for a reason. Look at that gap.

Who has the most steals?

1,611Stephen Curry

Yeah. Steals have only been counted since 1973-74, so the old guys get a pass. Chris Mullin's second with 1,360, Draymond's third with 1,250, Barry's at 929 from the years they tracked him, and Hardaway's at 821. Mully on this list makes me unreasonably happy.

Who has the most blocks?

1,140Adonal Foyle

My favorite answer on this whole page. Adonal Foyle! Through all those bad years, the man just kept swatting shots. Draymond's coming, he's at 936 and I'm rooting for it, but I'll always be happy that this record belonged to Foyle.

Who's played the most games as a Warrior?

1,076Stephen Curry

Draymond's at 956, Mullin's at 807, Klay finished at 793 and Thurmond played 757. Steph's 38 years old, and he's still adding to it.

Five of those seven answers are the same guy.

Five! I keep looking at it. He got drafted seventh, people worried about his ankles, and now he owns the franchise. And he did it all in one uniform, and he just signed on for two more years. We got to watch that. I don't know how else to say it. We got to watch that, right here, for free on TV, every night.

I've even thought through what LeBron next to him would mean for all this. His full record book is over here, and all seven Warriors titles are here. The rest of this season's on the schedule hub and the Warriors hub.
