Warriors
Golden State Warriors coverage, roster news, and Chase Center takes.
GSThe Warriors, on the other side of the run
This is the Warriors hub: the roster, the rotation, and what this era has left at Chase Center. The dynasty is not the story anymore. What to do about the end of it is.
Two threads run through the coverage. One is the front office: it keeps failing Steph Curry, and "he could leave" no longer sounds crazy. The other is the young core and how it is handled, how Steve Kerr actually handled Jonathan Kuminga is the case study, and the team is out of easy answers either way.
The championship years are not gone, just filed: 73-9 and then adding Kevin Durant, Rick Barry through the Splash Brothers, and the night Klay scored 37 in a quarter. For the league-wide view, see Bay Area NBA.
The 2026-27 season
Four pages carry the season and get updated as it moves: the season outlook, which is the honest version of what this roster can be; the roster and depth chart, position by position with the injuries; the projected rotation, who actually plays and for how long; and the cap sheet, which explains why the rest of the roster looks the way it does. A schedule hub goes up when the NBA releases the 2026-27 schedule.
For Curry himself there is now a permanent page: the records he already owns, 4,248 threes and counting, and the gap behind him. The arguments live where they always have: the front office, the end of the era, and how Kerr handled Kuminga. The banners are in the championship history and 73-9, and the building they were won in is Oracle Arena, from 1966 to the last night in 2019.

The Warriors Spent All Summer Chasing a Star and Signed Georges Niang
They chased Giannis. They chased Anthony Davis. August got late, and the fifteenth roster spot went to a 33-year-old who didn't play a game last season.

The Warriors Cling to the Past Because They Cannot Build a Future
Wiseman, the two timelines, Poole, Kuminga, Moody. A decade of draft capital went into that list, and the 2026-27 plan is still a 38-year-old Curry and whichever veterans took the minimum.

How Steve Kerr Actually Handled Jonathan Kuminga
It was never as clean as "buried him" or "stood by him." A season-long negotiation between a coach who needed wins and a young forward who needed minutes.

The Front Office Keeps Failing Steph Curry, and "He Could Leave" Doesn't Sound Crazy Anymore
Wasted draft capital, half-measure trades, and a supporting cast that keeps aging out from under him. For the first time, imagining Steph somewhere else doesn't feel absurd.
